She took my kids all around the shop and encouraged them to touch and examine while she gave details on the specimens. They had a blast! The kids got some "crack your own" geodes and loved opening them up when we got home. I got some cool crystals for my collection too :-)

Awesome shop with a large diverse selection! Well worth the hour drive. Items in the shop were reasonably priced. The owners are very knowledgeable and personable.
Best rock shop we have ever been too! The husband and wife that own it, were beyond kind and so knowledgeable about all the items. Highly recommend making this part of your stop while you are in Iowa or just passing through! Seriously, BEST rock shop we have ever been too.
